All the cakes, tarts & desserts are home made at the Black Douglas. Our speciality is to make cakes without flour or gluten.

Amongst our wheat free cakes are:

Lemon Polenta, Chocolate, Almond & Rose, Stem Ginger & Cardamom, Pear & Bergamot & Butternut Squash, Ginger & Fennel.

We also make amongst other things, Blackcurrant & Amaretto Cheesecake, Fresh Fig, Pomegranate & Amaretto Cheesecake, Citron Tart, Chocolate Bread & Butter Pudding, Beetroot Cake and Carrot Cake.

We normally stock, English Breakfast tea, Lapsang Souchong, Earl Grey, Ceylon & loads of herbal teas.

Pizza bases - These are hand made using a sourdough. If given notice we can do spelt bases.
